Kyle Richards has denied sending Dorit Kemsley a ‘manipulative text message’.
The 55-year-old, who joked about a possible divorce settlement with her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky during Buying Beverly Hills, pushed back against her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star’s claims.
“We haven’t spoken at all, but I’ve always supported Dorit since she came on the show — whether it was people saying she was fake because of her accent — I defended her on that,” the reality star said Thursday during TikTok from Amazon Live.
“If you say that if you live with someone who has an accent, you can pick up that accent. I’m like that too.’
The author of The Life is not Reality Show: Keep It said she also stood by the fashion designer: “With the dog, with Lisa Rinna in Hong Kong, with (Lisa) Vanderpump, I always stood up for her,” she argued in the question and answer session.

When the Season 13 reunion special aired earlier this month, Kemsley told co-star Erika Jayne that the American Woman producer had texted her the day before to encourage her to keep some information private.
“She texted me yesterday basically trying to shut me up,” the Beverly Beach founder claimed.
“It was so manipulative. It was so calculated.”
Richards said in her explanation that it was the opposite.
“I was actually very candid when I said, ‘There’s a lot at stake right now and this is really hard for me. I have a lot on my plate. I know what’s coming at me. You and I, these are stupid arguments. We don’t have to do that either. If you want to talk about it properly, if you don’t want to talk about it, okay.”
Richards and Umansky, 53, announced their divorce last July after 27 years of marriage.
