Kristen Taekman and Ramona Singer had a “private” conversation to “clear the air” over the latter’s “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” casting diss.
“We actually had a private phone conversation about it before, so we were good going in,” Taekman, 46, exclusively told Page Six Saturday at Jill Zarin’s annual Luxury Luncheon in the Hamptons.
In May, Singer, 66, and her 28-year-old daughter, Avery, shaded Taekman during a live Mother’s Day taping of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast at City Winery in New York City.
At the mention of Taekman’s inclusion in the series — which filmed this summer in St. Barts — Avery said she felt the casting choice was a “rogue” one.
“I just genuinely forgot who she was,” the BachBoss co-founder said, prompting her famous mother and “Turtle Time” podcast co-host to add, “Well, everyone did.”

Singer admitted that she even thought to herself, “Why don’t we have [alum] Aviva [Drescher]? Why do we have Kristen?”
The “Life on the Ramona Coaster” author maintained a full-time position on “The Real Housewives of New York City” for the entirety of its original 13-season run. She only crossed paths with Taekman in Seasons 6 and 7.
When Taekman caught wind of Singer’s diss, she wasted no time clapping back via social media.
“Huh you didn’t seem to forget me when you invited me to @averysinger launch party back in Feb!?” she wrote alongside a screenshot of our story.
“You also seemed to ‘know who I was’ when you attended my Hamptons event in 2019?” Taekman continued, referencing her Hot in the Hamptons luncheon in July of that year.
“Just sayin,” she added, sharing photos of the ladies together at the party.
Additionally, Taekman told us that Singer had previously made a similar jab during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I was just like, ‘You can say a lot of things about me, but I know you know me, come on now.’ And that was the second time she had done that to me by the way,” she said at Zarin’s event, organized by Brian Kelly and Sean Koski of ticket2events.
“She did something similar over COVID that I let go,” Taekman explained. “And this time I was like, ‘You know, we’re not going to [let it go].’”
The mom of two — who now lives in Calabasas, Calif., with husband Josh Taekman and their kids, Kinglsey and Cassius — noted that she appreciated Singer for making amends prior to “RHUGT.”
“She apologized. She called me and she apologized, so that made me feel better going into it because … she said what she said and I said what I said,” Kristen told us.
“And I think it was nice. So we went in with that being cleared, which is good.”
Peacock announced on Twitter Wednesday that they bumped up the “RHUGT: RHONY Legacy” premiere date to December, which will delay the next season of “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club” — starring Brandi Glanville, Caroline Manzo and more — a few months.
“We’re in a New York state of mind,” the streamer tweeted. “As a thank you to the fans for all of the support for #RHONY and #CrappieLake, the next season of #RHUGT will be RHONY LEGACY coming this December on Peacock! And then we’ll see you in Morocco in 2024.”
The “RHONY Legacy” series stars Kristen, Singer, Kelly Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley and Sonja Morgan as they reunite at Saline Beach in St. Barts.
Kristen told us that in addition to getting along with Singer, she really enjoyed her time spent with Benismon, 55, who was on “RHONY” from Seasons 2 to 4.
“It was really great to get to know Kelly because I knew her socially from being in the Hamptons and stuff, but never really filmed together,” she said of Bensimon. “We really didn’t know that much about each other, so it was nice to get to know Kelly and then … reminisce with the girls.”
Kristen was equally delighted to develop a deeper bond with Medley, 58, with whom she had only filmed Season 7 in 2015.
“I love Dorinda. I think Dorinda’s amazing. I really think she’s awesome. She’s TV gold. I think Dorinda is the best TV personality ever,” she gushed.
