The beloved doughnut chain’s new venture will bring joy to its fans, with the new store set to be located at 1200 Rymal Road, according to a representative from Krispy Kreme. In an electronic communication, Krispy Kreme Canada’s chief growth officer and managing partner, Levi Hetrick, confirmed the development of a Theatre Hub location on Rymal Road in Hamilton, akin to their Mississauga store. However, Hetrick mentioned that he could not provide an official opening date at this time but indicated that construction is expected to commence in 2024.
The Krispy Kreme brand had its share of challenges in Canada during the early 2000s due to an aggressive expansion plan. However, the brand has successfully operated a café in Mississauga and announced plans to open additional outlets in the forthcoming months and years. The Mississauga outlet, nestled in the Heartland Town Centre, is the busiest Krispy Kreme location, churning out 48,000 doughnuts daily. Despite the spelling error, Krispy Kreme is currently securing the necessary permits to open a new outlet in Hamilton.

It was promptly confirmed that Hamilton would indeed be the home to a new Krispy Kreme Theatre Hub, typo notwithstanding. A company official confirmed the move to the city but was unable to provide a specific timeline. For Hamilton residents, the closest available Krispy Kreme outlet is currently in Mississauga.
