Kim Zolciak's estranged husband Kroy Biermann says they're 'destitute' and begs court to allow sale of their $3M mansion… as he slams Kim as 'self-absorbed'

Kim Zolciak’s estranged husband Kroy Biermann painted their situation as more precarious than ever in new court documents filed on Monday.

The 38-year-old former NFL player again requested a judge allow a swift sale of divorcing couple’s $3 million Georgia home, according to documents obtained by Page Six.

In the filings, he claimed the two are now ‘financially destitute’ due to their overwhelming debts, which he largely attributed to the 45-year-old Don’t Be Tardy star’s ‘allegedly reckless’ spending.

Kroy now tells the judge he and Kim would be able to sell their home because the IRS has placed a $1.1 million lien on it.

However, he expressed hope that the worst financial penalties and losses could be avoided with a quick sale, as the couple still have ‘some equity’ left in their home.

Urgent: Kroy Biermann again asked a judge on Monday to allow a swift sale of the $3M home he shares with Kim Zolciak as he said they were ‘financially destitute’ and under a $1.1M lien

However, he said speed is essential, as foreclosure ‘looms on the horizon’ for the second time.

Kroy wrote that he hopes whatever money is left over from the sale of the home could be used to obtain separate residences for the estranged couple, both of which would presumably be more modest than their current house.

He reiterated his desire for a speedy sale in the documents after Kim filed documents to request a specific judge to oversee the proceedings.

However, the football player claimed that Kim’s action was ‘a direct attempt to delay’ the sale of the home.

Kroy’s attorney Marlys A. Bergstrom previously told Us Weekly that she believes Kim’s goal is to delay long enough to file for bankruptcy.

That would pause the foreclosure on the house, but it would also force the two to ‘live together, enveloped by all that toxicity for God knows how long.’

She added that she feared it was a foolhardy strategy, as ‘it is very likely that Kroy and Kim will come out with almost nothing.’

In the new documents, Kroy’s legal team wrote: ‘Time and time again, [Zolciak] has stated that she will not move and therefore will not cooperate in any attempt to sell the marital residence.

The filing went on to claim that Kim didn’t realize how the alleged delaying strategy could harm her family.

‘Unfortunately, [Zolciak] is too self-absorbed to realize the impact her actions will continue to have upon the minor children,’ they wrote.

In another filing from late last week, Kroy continued to claim that Kim was ‘abusive’ toward him.

He reaffirmed the allegations in documents on Thursday requesting a court-appointed guardian for the four children he shares with his estranged wife.

The previous week, Zolciak had announced a reconciliation with Biermann despite him filing for divorce for the second time just two weeks earlier, and there’s no evidence from his own court filings of a new understanding between them.

Amid their restarted divorce proceedings, he stated in his filing that the Real Housewives of Atlanta alumna continues to use ‘abusive, profane, and threat-laden language at him’ with ‘little concern if the children are present’.

In the reports obtained by Page Six, he also said he ‘attempts to shield the children from the negative fall-out’ of their divorce.

The pair share four children — Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, nine.

He also expressed concern about the television personality returning to reality TV as he said, if given the chance, she would use the Bravo show as an opportunity to ‘garner attention’ by talking about their breakup.

Biermann also claimed that Zolciak leaves him to care for the children and has spent ‘little time at home’ since they separated.

In the court documents, he detailed that he’s ‘been picking up all the slack, cleaning the home, picking up after the children, and preparing their meals’.

He explained this was because they had to ‘fire the nannies, chefs and housekeepers’ due to their money woes.

He described their split as ‘far from amicable’ despite Zolciak previously announcing they had reconciled once again and claiming they were ‘working on their marriage’.

Just last week, Zolciak had taken to her Instagram to shut down ‘the lies’ and said she and Biermann are still ‘living as husband and wife.’

Back in June, Biermann had made a request for a guardian for their children when they first filed for divorce.

Shortly after, they reconciled but the ex-linebacker reinstated their divorce proceedings just six weeks later in August.

He has requested sole legal and physical custody of their four children as well as the permission to sell their $3 million marital estate in Georgia to help cover their ‘significant debt’.

According to TMZ, his lawyer Marlys A. Bergstrom claimed the couple have accrued over $1 million in debt and facing a potential home foreclosure.

Through his attorney, he publicly implored his estrange wife to sign a joint consent agreement that would kickstart the process of offloading the house and sorting their money woes.
