Kevin Jonas’ wife Danielle confesses she feels ‘less than’ next to world-famous sisters-in-law Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner: ‘I wanna have something else to my name’
Kevin Jonas’ wife Danielle has confessed that she occasionally feels inadequate next to her famous sisters-in-law Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner.
Both actresses have achieved global notoriety, Sophie in the cast of Game Of Thrones and Priyanka as a Bollywood superstar turned Hollywood actress.
Danielle meanwhile was a hairdresser before taking up with Kevin, and during their marriage the couple briefly starred on a reality show that lasted two seasons.
She candidly discussed her insecurities when she and Kevin appeared on a recent episode of the podcast LadyGang.
Having found herself ‘out there’ ‘celebrity-wise’ because of her marriage, Danielle admitted that ‘when I’m with the other girls, I feel just less than sometimes.’

During the interview she reflected on the process of ‘finding like my place in’ the mad whirl of her husband’s fame and touring schedule.
She noted that ‘the two boys married somebody who, they’re actresses. They’re out there. They’re – everyone knows them, and I feel like: “I’m Danielle,” you know?’
Danielle confessed that ‘it’s hard,’ and that she is ‘trying to find my place’ among her constellation of celebrity family members.
‘Also that like I’m out there, like you, like celebrity-wise, because I’ve married you,’ she noted to Kevin: ‘and that’s where like it’s like: “Oh, I wanna have something else to my name to so that it feels, I don’t know….’
‘More than?’ Kevin offered, to which Danielle said: ‘More than, or like the other girls, ’cause then when I’m with the other girls I feel just less than sometimes.’
Kevin, who is the oldest of the famous Jonas Brothers, was also the first to get married, going down the aisle with Danielle on Long Island in 2009.
She integrated herself fully into his swirling showbiz life, making a home with him on what Kevin revealed they had designated as ‘our own little tour bus.’
He told Glamour: ‘For me and Danielle, it’s been our little house with Dani setting it up. Not many people get to do that, and we did so it was pretty great.’

They have since welcomed two daughters into the world together – a nine-year-old called Alena and a five-year-old called Valentina.
Back in 2012, Danielle flirted with TV fame on a short-lived reality series called Married To Jonas that followed the ups and downs of her relationship with Kevin.
Nick Jonas tied the knot with Priyanka during a three-day extravaganza of high-octane functions at a formerly royal palace in Rajasthan at the end of 2018.
Their Christian and Hindu nuptials were followed by a globetrotting array of receptions that swept them from New Delhi to Bombay to North Carolina.
They welcomed their daughter Malti via surrogate last year, and after her premature birth the baby spent 100 days in neonatal intensive care before arriving home.
Joe Jonas and Sophie got married in Las Vegas on May Day 2019, exchanging vows in front of an Elvis impersonator after attending the Billboard Music Awards.
They had a larger wedding in France later that year, and the following July during the coronavirus lockdowns Sophie delivered their daughter Willa.
The couple had another baby girl last year, but have yet to disclose her name and have assiduously kept both children’s faces off of social media.
