Kevin Hart has shared why Michael Jordan has been avoiding him for years. Hart, known for his bold humour, hasn’t spared even one of basketball’s greatest players from his jokes. He has also targeted Jordan’s sons, Jeffrey and Marcus, which likely hasn’t helped mend their relationship.
During his Acting My Age tour, Hart explained why 61-year-old Jordan has seemingly given him the cold shoulder for years. “Michael’s had an attitude with me for years because I hosted a celebrity event for him, and he came in late. I saw him coming in late, and I hit him with a joke,” Hart told the audience in Atlantic City on 21 July.
He continued, “It was quick and all in fun. I don’t know where it came from. I just hit him with a quick one. Michael had an attitude. Hasn’t talked to me since.” Hart doesn’t seem too concerned about the strained relationship.

“I don’t give a s***. I couldn’t care less. I couldn’t f****** care less,” he said.
“I’m at a point in my life where it’s very hard to bother me. I’m 45 years old, and little things don’t matter. I’m not the same person I once was.”
During his New Jersey show, Hart also criticised Jordan’s children for not taking advantage of the opportunities available to them, unlike other celebrities’ offspring.
The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star previously joked about Jordan’s fashion sense and facial hair on the Jimmy Kimmel Show in 2016.
“What age do you get to where it’s OK to wear your pants that high, and nobody addresses it?” Hart joked.
Recently, at a performance at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Hart called Jordan a “horrible dresser” and criticised his choice of jeans.
Despite this, Hart told Kimmel, “He’s still my favourite player though. If I see him again, I’m gonna ask him about it. ‘You better lose the ‘tude, Mike.’”
