Kennedy Rapudo is clearly not a fan of his wife Amber Ray hosting club events. In a recently resurfaced video from their reality series Nai-rich, he proposed that he would pay her the exact amount she earns from her club gigs if she agreed to stop working and focus on being a stay-at-home mom.
He suggested, “What if we make a deal that no matter how much you are being paid, I’ll pay you in return for you to sit at home?”
Rapudo believes that Amber Ray is a big brand and that she should let younger socialites take over those hosting jobs.
“I feel Amber is a big brand, and I feel she should leave hosting to these upcoming young girls and young socialites,” he said.

But Amber does not agree with her daughter’s father.
While she appreciates his support, she is unwilling to lose her financial independence.
“It can not work because what happens if he wakes up tomorrow and says he can not give me that money?” she asked.
For her, relying on someone else for money carries too much risk.
Amber also expressed concerns about how stepping back from her career might impact her identity.
“I have already spoiled my brand that no one knows who Amber is anymore, and I have six kids already as a wife who only cooks and cleans. Where will I start?” she questioned.
Her past experiences also play a role in her decision.
She explained that depending on her husband for money could lead to disrespect.
“IDon’t expect me to come and ask, baby, “I need this for my family. “I’ve done it before, and it brings a lot of disrespect. As much as money is money, sometimes it’s not enough, especially the one that your husband gives you. I can’t quit my job. This is my brand and my time,” she stated.
In the end, Amber made it clear that she is not ready to give up her job. “This is my brand and my time.”
