Katie Price is reportedly ‘struggling’ to rent out her Mucky Mansion for £6,000 a month because it is ‘moldy’ and ‘haunted’.
The former glamor model, 45, once worth £45million, was declared bankrupt in 2019 and now has £3.2million in debts.
Katie reportedly paid £1.3million for the sprawling Sussex home nine years ago and now says it is worth £2.5million.
She put it up for rent earlier this year, but while it appears to be an attractive property with stables, spacious rooms and beautiful grounds, an insider has now revealed the mirror that there hasn’t been even a ‘nibble’ of interest in it.
A source told the newspaper: ‘Katie is actively looking to move and rent something new and modern.

“She hates the Mucky Mansion – she often calls it the House of Horrors!
‘She claims she can’t sleep there alone because it’s haunted by the ‘grey lady’ on the top floor – not a good deal for potential tenants. Not even a nibble has been given to the real estate ad!’
The ‘arts and crafts house’ also reportedly suffers from a moldy bathroom, which also deters potential tenants from parting with huge sums of money every month.
Other photos show cardboard boxes, plastic bags and children’s toys that have not yet been cleared away.
The advertisement describes the house as a ‘spacious family home’ with ‘oak joinery throughout, with beams, woodwork and stained glass windows’.

Katie previously revealed she fears the West Sussex estate is giving her ‘bad luck’, despite putting money into renovations.
She said to her Katie Price podcast in August: ‘I’m still thinking about renting it, it’s just too big for me. I’m always in Essex (where on-off fiancée Carl Wood lives) at the minute.
“(I want) to get something smaller. Don’t know. I just think this house brings me bad luck.”

She added: ‘It’s such a good family home but it’s too big for me. It’s more of an excuse for the kids to make a mess.”

Last month it was reported that she may have to flog the mansion to get the money she needs.
She hit back at those who questioned her finances after her bankruptcy and insisted she would not lose her mansion.
Speak with The guard, she said: ‘People write about me as if I don’t have a pot to piss in. My £2.5 million house is protected. It’s mine; no one can ever take it away.”
Katie also said she wasn’t afraid of going to jail over her debt either, saying, “If I could go to jail and pay all of this off I would because it’s driving me crazy.”
She explained how she had lost her fortune and gave the bankruptcy notice to her ex-husbands, Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler, and to her lawyers.
She explained: ‘All three of the ex-husbands were in my case. Then lawyers. They all wanted money. Money. Money. Money. Then of course taxes.

‘When you have a breakdown and are suicidal, you shut off the world. You don’t talk to anyone, you don’t answer your phone, you don’t open your letters and before you know it you have a bailiff at your door.
‘Then the work stops because your mind is not in it. It’s all noise in your head. Bills come in, bills come in, you hear your husband is cheating on you, and it all just adds up.”
Katie previously insisted her multi-million dollar home couldn’t be taken away from her, during an appearance on The Jeremy Vine Show in March.
She said: ‘My house is safe. They always say, oh, her house is being taken away, but it has nothing to do with my house. They could never take it away, it’s completely safe.’
However, it is claimed that those handling her bankruptcy have the power to sell the Mucky Mansion to pay off her debts if they see fit.
If you own your home, in most cases your equity is automatically transferred to the curator who is handling your bankruptcy.
They have three years to decide whether to demand the sale of the property, if they believe the equity is sufficient to pay off a significant portion of the debt.
Katie must present her case to the court on how she will pay off her debts, otherwise she will have to prove that the mansion is essential to her ability to work.
She shoots much of her OnlyFans content from the house and it was previously the basis of her Channel 4 show, in which she attempted to renovate the property after it fell into disrepair – but the third season is currently up in the air.
The sun previously claimed that Katie cannot sell the mansion herself without court permission, according to land registry documents linked to the address.

The house has a series of restrictions regarding cash borrowed to finance it and subsequent cash used against the value of the house.
A recent document states: ‘BANKRUPTCY RESTRICTION introduced under section 86(4) of the Land Registration Act 2002 as the title of the owner of the registered estate appears to have been affected by a bankruptcy order of the High Court of Justice (Court Reference Number 1040 of 2019) against Katie Price, aka Katrina Amy Alexandra Alexis Price (fundamental rights reference number WO 46637/19).
‘No disposition of the registered property may be registered before the curator of the bankrupt’s property has been registered as the owner of the registered property.’
This summer, Katie hit back at internet trolls who questioned her about her bankruptcy, insisting she still ‘owns her £2.5million house’.
During her speech on TikTok Live, she answered questions from her followers and urged internet bullies not to “hit anyone.”
“I’m bankrupt, yes, but I still own my £2.5million house and I’m sitting here in the kitchen doing my TikTok with you,” she said.
‘Never turn down someone who is bankrupt, we can all go there, but that doesn’t mean it’s all bad.’
Katie continued, “Yes, my company has gone bankrupt and you have to deal with it, right? So never hit anyone, because that could happen to you.’
