Karen Nyamu can’t hide the joy of being the only fish in Samidoh’s fishpond after his wife Edday Nderitu left for the US with all of her children nearly two months ago.
The UDA-nominated senator was beaming with euphoric and triumphant pride while talking about Samidoh as she engaged her fans on Facebook.
Netizens engaged Karen Nyamu after she shared photos with Samidoh as they attended the graduation party of the musician’s younger brother.
Fans teased Nyamu about being the ‘first lady’ now that she is increasingly being seen in the company of Samidoh.
The mother of two said she was willing to share Samidoh with Edday but she left him for her nonetheless.
In another post, Karen Nyamu concurred with a fan who suggested that she was being ‘beaten’ in the bedroom and not the physical battering as was thought after she was seen with a black eye.
“Washow wewe may b uchapwo na Dickson munene my favorite,” Triza Wainaina told Karen Nyamu while dismissing claims the nominated senator was physically assaulted.
In a quick rejoinder, Nyamu told Triza that her critics pretend they don’t know that she gets ‘beaten’ in the bedroom.
“Triza Wainaina Wanajifanya hawajui,” she replied.
Scars of honour
Edday shared an inspirational post after Karen Nyamu bragged about having Samidoh all to herself.
“After you have survived, teach yourself how to thrive. Because you deserve to be happy after making it through everything that tried to destroy you,” she wrote on social media.
Earlier, Samidoh’s wife shared a quote from the book ‘Scars of Honour’ that was gifted to her by the author.
“When we go through difficult times, we often do not know what to make out of them. The pain we feel out of what we have gone through has the potential to blind us to the fact that we were meant to significantly make an impact in the world around us. Yet the same pain has the potential to awaken in us the true reason why we exist. A quote from a book by the name SCARS OF HONOUR by my good friend Dianah Kamande HSC ,Thank you so much for this gift 🙏🏻,you’re an inspiration to many,continue with the good work,” Edday wrote.
Edday and her three children left for the US in early May 2023 and were seen off by her husband Samidoh.
Samidoh’s wife and her kids arrived in the US and they were met by her America-based friend Bernice Saroni who is hosting her and the children at her home in Boston, Massachusetts.
