President Biden has shared a “Dark Brandon” meme in which he and Taylor Swift plotted to help the Chiefs win the Super Bowl.
The image shows Biden with a red laser for eyes, with the name coming from a meme that originally started as a right-wing slogan, “Let’s Go Brandon” — coded as a replacement for “F*** Joe Biden.” It has now become an inside joke for Biden’s supporters.
Biden tweeted the image with the caption “exactly as we drew it,” shortly after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The president seemingly leaned on speculation from GOP commentators and Republicans who have speculated that Swift is a plant being used to influence the 2024 election.

Biden had previously used the meme after his campaign team signed up for Trump’s social media site Truth Social.
Before launching Sunday, the campaign also shared a TikTok of the president and joked about the conspiracy theory.
In the short clip, he is asked “is he deviously plotting to manipulate the season so that the Chiefs would make it to the Super Bowl, or are the Chiefs just a good football team?”
The president hits back, “I’d be in trouble if I told you,” before the image of Dark Brandon appears on screen.
While Swift stayed away from mainstream politics, she vowed to kick Trump out of the White House during the last election – and announced she was voting Democrat.
Recent reports suggest the star is preparing to endorse Biden again, prompting Donald Trump to tell his aides it didn’t matter as he was “more popular” than them anyway.

Swift’s political influence is sought after by all parties, but for years she remained openly neutral.
She was born in Pennsylvania, but moved to Nashville as a young girl to pursue music. Initially, she was loathe to say anything that would alienate her traditionally Republican country music fan base.
But in 2018, she spoke out against Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn, saying her voting record “dismays and frightens me.”

Trump – who called her “fantastic” and “amazing” in 2012 – was angered by Swift’s comments.
“You know, Marsha Blackburn is doing very well in Tennessee, she’s leading substantially now,” Trump said. ‘She’s a wonderful woman.
“I’m sure Taylor Swift doesn’t know anything about her. And let’s just say I like Taylor’s music about 25 percent less now.”
Swift subsequently endorsed Biden, and last year a single Instagram post of hers led to 35,000 new voter registrations.
A Redfield & Wilton Strategies poll for Newsweek last month found that 18 percent of voters say they are more likely to vote for a candidate Swift endorses.
This election will bring 8 million new voters to the American electorate – and a total of 41 million Gen Z voters, many of whom are influenced by celebrities and social media.
