Jodie Marsh has split from her construction boyfriend Mark, three months after claiming he was her ‘first adult relationship after dating a string of scammers’.
On Saturday, the former glamor model, 44, took to Instagram to share a gallery of images of herself in various modeling guises and hinted at what went wrong in the romance.
She said: ‘I think this sums up why I will never find a life partner.
‘Me: “I want a wonderfully quiet, happy and peaceful life, saving animals. I want to lie on the couch and read books and listen to music.
‘I want to plant rose bushes in the garden and I’m actually quite boring. I need a man who understands that my life is not all glamor and craziness.

‘Someone who wants to chill with me and realizes that I can be quite boring, but who enjoys the quiet moments. I need a man who understands that I live a simple life in the countryside”………’
This sparked a series of responses from her fans asking her, “What happened to Mark?” and ‘What about the builder?’
A fan then wrote: ‘You need a man who doesn’t know the ‘old’ you – who doesn’t expect what you were and loves who you are now!
“The ‘you’ that you are now is just enjoying both sides of life more peacefully and people don’t understand that. They think the wild nights and modeling are all you are, and that’s not the case….
‘Unfortunately, men don’t always realize that people mask/change/grow up and that’s their problem and not yours! There are still guys I worked with 20 years ago who talk to me like I’m the same person and I wasn’t even ‘me’ back then, so it’s exhausting dealing with them!’
And Jodie responded with a “hands in the air” emoji.
Mark works as a builder at her animal shelter Fripps Farm and they officially started dating last June.
She told MailOnline in December: ‘I’m finally in what I like to call an adult relationship, you know, I’ve had a lot of fights with boyfriends.

She shared images from her past as a glamor model, saying men need to understand that she has changed and that she has a quiet side to her personality.
She said before the split in December: “I’ve made bad choices in the past, but we all do when it comes to matters of the heart.”
‘I haven’t had a good time with men in the past. I have been the target of scammers who pretend to be one thing and then, and then their true colors come out and they are not at all who they say they are.
“But I’ve also made bad choices in the past, but we all do when it comes to a matter of the heart.”
‘Everyone at Fripps knows Mark as ‘Mark the builder’ and we are together all day because he builds fences and fences here and does the maintenance, everything. And of course, you know, we’re all here just to take care of the animals.
“We’re acting really cool, like we haven’t said the L-word (love) yet, but I think this shows that I’m mature about this.
Jodie’s latest romance came after she split from Elvis impersonator ex Billy Collins in May 2022, who she discovered cheated on her with multiple women.

‘You know, years ago I thought, “Oh my God, I love him!” I used to just get too excited in relationships, whereas now we’re just chilling and taking each day as it comes.
“We all work for the greater good of the animals. Actually, the animals come above everything, above our relationship, above everything.
“The nice thing is there’s a team of us here and Mark is part of it, and we all work for the animals every day.”

She wrote: ‘Billy and I have broken up. It turns out he’s been cheating on me for three years.
‘Sexing other girls and begging for nudes – and he has that in abundance.
“This has literally been going on for the entire three years we’ve been together.
“He admitted everything when I confronted him and I screenshotted all the evidence to prove it because I don’t let anyone think anything other than the truth.
‘I gave him the world and it still wasn’t enough. Please give me some space, I’m not even done grieving for my mother. This is really hard to comprehend because I really thought I had found my soulmate.”
