HOUSTON — It took just one swing for Jasson Dominguez to make a strong first impression.

The 20-year-old crushed a home run on the second pitch he saw in the big leagues from Justin Verlander, an opposite-field, two-run shot that gave the Yankees a 3-0 lead over the Astros at Minute Maid Park.

Verlander threw Dominguez a 94 mph fastball in the strike zone and Dominguez, hitting from the left side, belted it 360 feet into the Crawford Boxes in left field.
