Martin Odegaard’s enjoyment of taking pictures at the end of Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Liverpool at the Emirates drew the ire of Jamie Carragher – and caused a social media frenzy.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard were all on the scoresheet for the Gunners as they closed the gap on Liverpool and Man City at the top of the Premier League.

Arsenal captain Odegaard had some fun with the club photographer at the end of the match, taking pictures of him celebrating after the final whistle, but it did not impress Carragher, who worked as a pundit for Sky Sports.

As the footage was shown, former Arsenal player Gael Clichy revealed: ‘I remember taking pictures but not taking pictures. It’s a good evening.’

Carragher jumped in angrily: ‘Just go into the tunnel. You won a game, three points, you’ve been brilliant. Back in the title race, enter the tunnel. I honestly mean it.”

Saka put the hosts ahead inside the opening 15 minutes at the Emirates, but Liverpool were fortunate to equalize before half-time thanks to Gabriel’s own goal.

A communication error in Liverpool’s defense allowed Gabriel Martinelli to put Arsenal back in the lead in the 67th minute, before Trossard sealed the victory with a smart finish in stoppage time.

Arsenal are back in action on Sunday against West Ham, while Liverpool hosted Burnley the afternoon before.
