Jake and Logan Paul claim their ‘menace’ father Greg was physically abusive towards them growing up in bombshell documentary: ‘He would slap the s**t out of me’

Logan and Jake Paul have claimed their father Greg was physically abusive towards them as they were growing up in new Netflix documentary, Untold: Jake Paul the Problem Child.

YouTuber turned boxer Jake, 26, claimed his dad would ‘slap the s**t out of me’ during childhood while Logan, 28, branded Greg a ‘menace’ as they recounted how the alleged abuse made them determined to succeed in their chosen careers.

In the documentary, which was released on August 1,  Jake said: ‘Our parents were really strict and mainly my dad — it was always Logan and I against him.’

‘My dad would slap the s**t out of me. I don’t resent it. I’m understanding of why he did that. That’s all he knew. “He always said “life’s not easy, life’s not fair.”

Logan corroborated his brother’s statements, but said: ‘Jake may throw around the word “abusive.” I prefer not quite legal.

‘Holy s**t. Yo, Greg Paul is a f*****g being. He’s a menace. That guy’s intense.’

Greg has denied Jake and Logan’s claims of abuse, saying: ‘I never laid hands on my kids. And I did tell him, I said, ‘”Jake, I did pick you up and throw you on a couch couple times.” [He said], “Well, I was afraid of you.” I’m like, ‘That’s what the f*** dads are supposed to do.’

‘Somebody comes in here, they start harassing everybody and smacking around an old lady — do you want a couple Greg Pauls in the room or do you want some… whiny little b***h who’s gonna sit there and talk about emotions? Who do you want in the room?’

Jake and Logan said their father’s tough demeanor made them determined to succeed, with Jake saying: ‘He was so hard and so tough on us that my brother and I’s imaginations really started to flare up.

‘So one day we get a camera, and we just start filming our lives.’

Logan added: ‘Jake is still traumatized to this day about how my dad treated him. And they still don’t get along like they should.’

Greg claimed Jake  ‘shut me off with no warning’ after he beat UFC legend Anderson Silva last October, with Logan saying: ‘Jake’s birthday, we all flew to Utah in this cabin. Jake was pretty f****d up, so was my dad.

‘There was a big group of people there. Jake mentioned my dad abusing him as a child, They got in a huge argument and it hurt Jake so much that my dad refused to acknowledge the physical hardship that he put us through when we were young.’

In 2021, TikTok star  Justine Paradise accused Jake of sexually assaulting her in 2019, which he denied.

Logan said Jake’s mental health became of real concern, saying: ‘Both my dad and I felt worried for my brother’s life.

‘Jake’s always been pretty emotionally unpredictable and volatile. There was a point where we were both legitimately concerned that Jake was going to kill himself.’
