‘I’ve been married for 11 years and now I start journey of singlehood’ – Size 8

Gospel artiste and pastor Linet Munyali alias Size 8 and DJ Mo’s marriage seems to have hit the doldrums if her latest announcement is anything to go by.

Size 8 has announced that her 11-year marriage with the gospel DJ has come to an end, and she is now embracing single life.

Sharing the news with her fans on her Insta stories on Thursday, August 1, 2024, the ‘Afadhali Yesu‘ hitmaker acknowledged that while marriage can be a divine blessing, it sometimes doesn’t work out as one hopes.

Size 8 announced that she is now starting a new chapter as a single woman noting that she will continue to worship God with unwavering devotion.

Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace and sometimes it does not work but all in all God is still on the throne!!!! Ive been married for 11 years and now i start the Journey of single hood! But God is still on the throne i worship you Yaweh!” Size 8 shared.

DJ Mo is yet to comment on the matter.

Size 8 and DJ Mo tied the knot in September 2013 and have been blessed with two children during their union.

In 2022, Size 8 and DJ Mo were forced to address rumours of their split that had spread like wildfire at the time.

On their YouTube channel, the songstress admitted to running away from their matrimonial home as reported in the tabloids.

Size 8 revealed that she had run off to get some air after a misunderstanding with her hubby.

Yes I did, yes I ran away from home …. yes I ran away because I was very angry with DJ Mo, alikuwa amenikosea, so I ran  I just needed some space to breathe and you know… just talk to God,” she revealed.

Adding;

Mo alikuwa amenikosea, and it was not something small, but he apoogised and we sat down with men of God, pastor Joan, pastor Chris Chege and came to a biblical conclusion and we are now reconciled in marriage by the grace of God.”

On his part, DJ Mo said disagreements and fights are normal in a marriage setting and unavoidable.
