AFL star Caleb Poulter and his influencer girlfriend Sam Guggenheimer have ended their relationship after two and a half years of dating.
Sam, 23, confirmed the heartbreaking news on Monday in the latest episode of hers Only for girls podcast, which revealed that the relationship had “run its course.”
‘Caleb and I are no longer together. “I had a beautiful relationship and I will cherish our relationship for the rest of my life, but things happen,” she began.
The influencer quickly denied the rumors that anyone had been wrong, claiming that they had simply grown apart naturally.
‘Nothing bad ever happened in our relationship. No one cheated. If I corrected that, no one would do anything wrong. It just took its course.”

She then said she wished Caleb, 21, all the best for the future: “I have nothing but love and respect for this man.”
Sam and the Western Bulldogs star started dating in May 2021, when he was playing for Collingwood.
Their relationship was marked by ups and downs.

In July, the couple announced the death of their beloved kitten, Douglas, on social media.
Sam announced the sad news in an Instagram post, revealing that their ‘little boy’ had moved on.
“Heaven gained a little angel today,” the Western Bulldogs player’s partner wrote.
“Words can’t describe how much this little kitten has changed our lives in such a short time,” she continued.
“He filled a place in our hearts that we didn’t know was missing. He will always be our little boy,” she continued.
