India’s reshuffled T20 squad prepares for Australian challenge

Australia is also not without its changes, having given rest to some of its key players from the World Cup-winning team, including captain Pat Cummins and experienced opener David Warner. The Indian team comprises Suryakumar Yadav (Captain), Ruturaj Gaikwad (Vice-Captain), Jitesh Sharma (Wicketkeeper), Mukesh Kumar, Ishan Kishan, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Rinku Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Shivam Dubey, and Axar Patel. Australia’s squad features Matthew Wade (Captain), Matt Short, Nathan Ellis, Tanveer Sangha, Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis, Sean Abbott, Steve Smith, Tim David, Adam Zampa, Aaron Hardie, Kane Richardson, Jason Behrendorff, and Marcus Stoinis.

The T20 Series Venues and Schedule
The Twenty20 series, which kicks off on November 23, will be hosted by five cities: Hyderabad, Vizag, Trivandrum, Guwahati, and Nagpur. Broadcasting of the India vs. Australia T20 series will be live on Sports18 and Colours Cineplex. According to a PTI report, the selection of the players was primarily influenced by their performance in the last two IPL seasons, which is reflected in the composition of the teams. However, a few players, including seasoned pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, were also selected based on their performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
