Content creator Georgina Njenga has spoken after a video circulated on social media showing her in a tense confrontation with a man.
The video she posted and deleted showed an injured Georgina seated while the man told her to leave his home and seek medical attention.
At one point, he accuses her of wanting to harm herself in his house and instructs her to leave immediately, mentioning that her mother had also suggested she leaves.
In the video, featuring scenes of visible damage to the door and other signs of the altercation’s aftermath, another man seated in another corner of the house browsing through his phone.
During the exchange, the content creator refers to her phone, suggesting she has documented the entire incident and accusing the man of abusive behaviour.
“Si upasue, niko na iCloud,” Georgina is heard saying in the footage.
“Toka uende utibiwe ama toka nje. Mama yako amekuja akasema utoke apa. Unataka kukufia kwa nyumba yangu. Unataka kujinyongea kwa nyumba yangu, jinyonge basi,” the man says sounding annoyed.
“Mnanishinda mkinisumbua apa ni kama ni mimi nimejigonga. Ata sitaki uende jela, nataka watu wajue wewe ni mnyama,” she said.
The video has since gone viral with fans and followers concerned about the young mother’s safety.
However, Georgina has since clarified the situation, dismissing any concerns about her well-being. Through a statement on her Instagram Stories, she assured fans that the video is old and described it as an accident, not the result of abuse by the man in question.
“Hey guys to all those people checking up on me am very much okay, the video making rounds on social media is an old video that was an accident and it wasn’t done by him! (sic)” Georgina wrote.
