Ellie Young has revealed she was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after being stranded in Bolton with a mystery illness.
The Ibiza Weekender star, 30, took to Instagram to share that she had ‘finally’ been given a bed in A&E after waiting 15 hours for one.
Ellie, who shot to fame in 2016, opened up about bleeding and feeling increasingly unwell before admitting herself to hospital.
She wrote: “15 hours in A&E so I’m clearly checking myself into the hospital. Waiting for a bed was hoping to be home today as it happened while I’m in Bolton but thanks to @davidpotts who is with me until the early hours.
“Maybe too much information, but I know you’ll ask. I started losing blood yesterday, randomly feeling unwell, sick and having a stomach ache. I’ve been sitting in a chair since 7:15 last night, hammering on painkillers.

“Take my hat off to the nurses and doctors because they’ve been dealing with some people all night. People who moan because they are here for 4 hours, try 15 hours and 1 hour of sleep’.
Ellie later informed her 260,000 Instagram fans with an update, saying she was still waiting for a bed in a ward.
She wrote: ‘Thank you for all your messages. I was able to sleep for a few hours, still waiting for a bed in the ward.’
Finally getting a bed, Ellie shared one last photo and wrote: “Finally in a bed.”
Ellie announced in 2021 that she got engaged to her fiancé Matt Clow after he proposed at home on Valentine’s Day by candlelight.
She shared a video of the romantic moment and a series of photos of herself celebrating their engagement, less than a year after they went public with their on-again, off-again relationship.
Ellie shared a video of Matt’s romantic proposal on Instagram on Sunday, in which he covered a room in the house with tealight candles and draped red material as he transformed it into ‘Mattnagerie’.
He posted pictures of everything, wrote “I love you” in candles and scattered red rose petals on the floor.

Matt and Ellie first met while attending the same school, but were never friends. After starting a relationship in 2020, Ellie played Matt two months later.
But after spending most of 2020 apart, the couple decided to give it a try and Ellie moved into his flat.
