If you are a fan of Kikuyu radio station and its programs, you might have come across this famous Kameme fm radio presenter called Gathuki Mundu who hosts a show called Nyama Choma show which airs on Saturday and Sunday.
In an interview that Gathuki Mundu had with Jeff Kuria tv, Gathuki said that he was who introduced one of the most loved shows in Kikuyu land which airs at Inooro fm every Sundays afternoon called Ngogoyo is hosted by Kamau Wa Kangethe.
In this show, they play old skull songs. This show is ranked number one in all Kikuyu vernacular shows. Gathuki said that when he was working with Inooro fm, he searched for all these old skull songs and brought them to Inooro.
He said that he made this show popular and he later handed it over to Kamau Wa Kangethe who is now called the governor of Ngogoyo.
“I was the one who introduced Ngogoyo show and after people loved it I handed it over to Kamau Wa Kangethe when I was moving to Kamene fm. I am the one who searched for all these old skull songs and brought them to Inooro fm” he said.
