I Made Ksh30 Million During Covid-19 by Doing this Online, Drank Every day, Female Vixen Reveals

Sherlyn Anyango, Oga Obinna’s former girlfriend, has disclosed the amount of money she earned during the era of Club Covid. The emergence of Club Covid was credited to Xtian Ndela.

During an interview with Eve Mungai, Sherlyn shared her story, stating, “The first video I made was taken innocently. I used to dance in school, and I even had a nickname associated with my dancing skills. A friend informed me about Club Covid, and that’s how I got involved. Initially, I wasn’t interested in making money; I was around 19 or 20 years old at the time. But I found myself deeply engaged in it. The more I did it, the more immersed I became.”

Over time, Sherlyn began receiving payments. “My friend advised me not to turn down money. On bad days, I would earn 300,000 Kenyan Shillings, and on good days, up to 1 million Kenyan Shillings. Off-camera, some individuals would contact me for private dance performances. I made over 30 million Kenyan Shillings from Club Covid. I had never seen such a substantial amount of money. I would treat my friends by booking them Airbnbs. However, later on, I realized that they were merely using me.”

Regarding handling fame, Sherlyn revealed, “I blocked all my family members, so they wouldn’t know where I lived. I surrounded myself with friends, and we would spend our time drinking. But now, I don’t have any friends. I drank every day for a year, unknowingly adopting a destructive lifestyle. It was only when I moved to the US that I began to change. I met a gym trainer who encouraged me to transform my life. I was also dissatisfied with the path I was on; nothing I did brought me fulfillment.”

As a video vixen, Sherlyn also disclosed her rates, stating, “My rate for being a video vixen is 200,000 Kenyan Shillings per show. The payment depends on the duration and the artist involved. Unfortunately, most artists struggle to promote their music, which is why vixens in Kenya aren’t paid as they should be.” Reflecting on her past choices, Sherlyn expressed regret, stating, “I received opportunities, yes, but I regret everything I put out there. It’s challenging to rebuild your image later on.”

Sherlyn returned to Kenya seeking a break and to be close to her family. Addressing rumors of deportation, she stated, “I wasn’t deported. Kenya is my home. Can’t someone come and visit?” When it comes to her divorce, Sherlyn revealed her parents’ reaction, saying, “My mother was saddened by it and kept questioning why I came back. She asks many questions, some of which I can’t answer.”2b54a5d8d54740c9aa8f111e5e69e5c7?quality=uhq&resize=720
