Director Trevor has revealed that when it was time to say goodbye to his highly publicized romance with youTuber Eve Mungai, he packed his TV, his YouTube channels, and his sound system.
In an interview with Obinna TV, the content creator humorously recounted how, when he moved out, the only things he took with him were his channels and his sound system.
He emphasized that everyone knew those channels belonged to him and that a sound system is not something you just “go buy” after a breakup.
He also joked about leaving in style by hiring movers despite having so little to carry.
“Mimi nilitoka na Channels zangu, but si ata wewe unajua ni zangu. That’s the only thing mimi nilitoka nayo na TV, na sound system yangu. Huwezi sema utaenda kubuy engine. Singeacha sound system. Niliita watu was kuhama, lazima ningetoka in style,” he jested.
Back in February 2024, Trevor made headlines when he revealed that he had ended things with his former lover.
In a surprising move, he seized control of their joint social media accounts, rebranding their shared channel, formerly known as “The Mungai Eve Show,” to “Kenya Online Media (KOM)” the very next day leaving Eve without access to the platform they had built together and effectively cutting her off from its revenue.
Trevor cuts off Eve Mungai
In February 2024, Trevor confessed they had kept their breakup under wraps to protect their brand, continuing to work together.
“We worked together last year while not being in a romantic relationship until February this year when we officially decided to part ways,” Trevor revealed through Nyota.
Then on Monday, February 19, 2024, Trevor took charge, announcing he had given Eve the boot and seized control of their joint social media accounts. He rebranded the channel to ‘Kenya Online Media (KOM)’ the very next day, leaving Eve out in the cold financially.
Amidst this drama, Trevor cryptically quoted, “Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”
“No! Her services are no longer needed in the following platforms: YouTube – 754K subscribers, Insta Fame – 104K subscribers, Facebook – 874K followers,” he said in a Q&A session on his Insta stories when asked if he would work with Eve.
Director Trevor is currently in a relationship with social media strategist Yvonne Kiki shortly after being in ‘clout-chasing’ entanglement with city girl Kemunto Diana.
