Nigerian singer Davido Adeleke is facing a paternity claim after a US-based socialite, Anita Brown, called him out for allegedly impregnating her.
Anita, who has been in close communication with the Nigerian star, caused a frenzy online after she emerged with receipts to show her close relationship with Davido.
To prove that she was not on a one-night stand with the singer, the socialite leaked her alleged private conversations with Davido’s cousin Clarks Adeleke and the Nigerian hitmaker.
The lady who has gone on a full-blown social media rant claims that she is not clout-chasing while citing that she has been famous all her life and she didn’t need a man to be popular.
She just hopes the singer takes responsibility for his actions since he has decided to not reply to her texts like he used to.
Anita claims to have met the Assurance crooner in 2017, while on a trip in Dubai from they hit it off and started dating up until the pandemic when they were forced to date long-distance.
In her outburst, she claims that she didn’t know the singer was in a relationship let alone married.
The Unavailable hitmaker is yet to address the lady’s allegations.
Davido baby mama drama
In April, a few months after the death of his son, Davido was allegedly expecting a child with a US-based lady who lived in Atlanta where Davido had been frequently visiting.
Davido addressed the speculations, blaming his enemies for the reports.
During this time, Davido and Chioma had fallen out with Davido penning an emotional message to fizzle out the fire brewing in his marriage during her (Chioma’s) birthday.
“Today I just want to celebrate my right hand! My go to! Happy birthday baby @thechefchi ! God bless you. Your love is timeless. It’s a forever thing I ASSURE YOU! ❤️❤️❤️” he wrote.
Davido, Chioma tie knot
The Nigerian state married his long-term lover Chioma in a private ceremony barely five days after the death of their son Ifeanyi.
Ifeanyi Adeleke died after drowning in his father’s residence in Banana Estate, Lagos, Nigeria.
According to Nigerian media, Chioma’s Kinsmen had barred the Adeleke family claiming that Ifeanyi was their son since Davido was not married to Chioma.
In haste, the two (Davido and Chioma) tied the knot in secret.
