Celebrated Kenyan journalist Ayub Abdikadir is now officially off the market after tying the knot to the love of his life by ther moniker of Idil Hassan Ali.
The Citizen TV news anchor infact exchanged vows today with his wife and this was via an Islam wedding ceremony called Nikkah.

According to photos and videos shared online by those who graced the event, it was clear that it was an invites-only affair.
The lovely occasion infact went down at the lavish Emara Ole Sereni hotel in Nairobi and as per the programme, the guests were to arrive by noon today.
The venue was also beautifully decorated with white rose flowers on the outside, and this matched the white colour that was on all the seats that were inside the room where it went down.
Among the people who graced the event were Ayub Abdikadir’s fellow Citizen TV presenters Trevor Ombija, Rashid Abdalla, Seth Olale and also South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro.
Hassan Mugambi and his wife Mwanaidy Shishi also graced the event, and the latter took to her Instagram stories to even give netizens a glimpse of how the room was filled to capacity.

Among the people who congratulated Ayub Abdikadir because of the milestone was Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.
The legislator infact took to his Facebook account and wished the Citizen TV journalist all the best with regards to his marriage life.
“Congratulations 🎈to my great friend Ayub Abdikadir on his wedding. Wish you peace and love in your marriage” he wrote.
Hassan Mugambi and his wife Mwanaidy Shishi also sent the newlywed a congratulatory message as shown in the photo below.
From the photos posted online, it is clear that Idil Hassan’s photo was not shared yet. This was probably as a way to keep the identity a secret.
This however is not a surprise because Ayub Abdikadir has always also kept his love life away from the limelight. Therefore it is not even clear how long the two had dated before exchanging their vows.
The hunk however began his media career at Ebru TV few years ago before he was poached by K24 TV.
Ayub Abdikadir however landed a job at Citizen TV during the time around the August 2022 polls. He reportedly joined the station on the 5th of that month after he impressed viewers during the presidential debate.
