Advertisment

On Sunday, more than 60 people were injured south of Haifa following a drone strike claimed by Hezbollah. The Israeli volunteer rescue service, United Hatzalah, stated that their ambulance teams assisted individuals with injuries ranging from critical to mild.

Hezbollah, a Lebanese militant group engaged in conflict with Israel, announced it sent “a squadron of attack drones” targeting a military training camp in Binyamina, south of Haifa. This action was in response to Israeli air strikes on Lebanon.

This incident follows air raid sirens in central Israel two days earlier, triggered by aerial drones from Lebanon. One building north of Tel Aviv sustained damage.

For over a year, Hezbollah has consistently launched rockets and drones into Israel. These attacks have intensified since late September.

Israel’s advanced air defences, including the Iron Dome system, have intercepted most projectiles, resulting in minimal casualties from strikes or debris.
