Wednesday, the 26th of July was indeed a special day for renowned Citizen TV journalist Hassan Mugambi.
This is because he officially turned a year older, and like anyone who is proud of the milestone, he also took to his social media platforms to celebrate it.

On his Instagram account, Hassan Mugambi was over the moon as he penned himself a sweet birthday message.
The Citizen TV journalist also appreciated everyone who has been instrumental in making him happy in his life.
“Hello it’s me again…I just wanna say thank you. Thanks to Allah for another year under the sun. Alhamdulillah for every minute. May Allah bless every one of friends and family who have contributed to the constant smile. I don’t take that for granted” he wrote.
The disclosure elicited massive reactions from netizens, who joined the Citizen TV top journalist in marking the milestone.
Among these people is his wife Mwanaidy Shishi, who is also the owner of Mama Nilishe, a famous restaurant that makes Swahili cuisines.
Taking to her Instagram account the sassy entrepreneur infact shared several photos, that captured some of the beautiful moments that they had spent together as a couple.

Mwanaidy Shishi further accompanied the photos with a long caption pampering him with love.
She further appreciated how much he has always been there for her whenever he needs her.
“To the unexpected man that took out the gangster in me with the most romantic and caring heart, a friend that I wanted to keep but turned out to be my answered prayers, no way husband and the best to our kids. My thoughts are free to go anywhere but it’s surprising how often they head to your direction….”

Hassan Mugambi and Mwanaidy Shishi have actually been husband and wife for slightly over a month now.
The couple infact tied the knot on the 9th of June 2023 after dating for awhile, and it was via a colourful invites-only Islamic ceremony.
Some of the people who graced the wedding included his colleagues at Citizen TV Rashid Abdalla and Ayub Abdikadir and also South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro among others.
It should be noted that Hassan Mugambi and Mwanaidy Shishi came into the marriage each with a child from a former relationship. Therefore theirs is a blended family.
