Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi was recently admitted to hospital for a serious eye infection that could have led to her losing her vision.

And doctors believed an X-rated act by her TV star husband may have been the cause of the injury.

Speaking on her It’s All True podcast that she hosts with Grant, Chezzi explained that she went to the hospital after antibiotics failed to clear up her infection.

‘I got checked and they took me straight in, I had periorbital cellulitis, so it must’ve gone from a small infection along my eyelid that just blew up. Apparently it is quite significant,’ she said.

Doctors then tried to figure out how she got the infection, and the mother-of-three was shocked at what they believed the cause was.

‘They said: “Do you and your husband have sexual partners?” And I was like “No, what are you asking?”‘ Chezzi explained.

‘And they said it could be chlamydia. And I asked: “How do you even get chlamydia in your eye?”

‘And then they asked me, “Has your partner ejaculated in your eye?”

Before telling this story on her podcast, Chezzi had her fans worried after she posted a selfie outside a medical centre where her eye was covered with a large white bandage.

At this stage, she didn’t give any information on what happened to her, as she captioned the snap: ‘The lengths we will go to just to promote our award-winning Podcast – It’s All True?’
