Golden bachelor Gerry Turner and his new wife Theresa Nist are still living in separate homes despite tying the knot three months ago.
The Indiana native, 72, married the New Jersey native, 70, in a televised ceremony in January after finding love on the latest iteration of ABC’s long-running reality TV dating franchise.
TMZ reports that the spouses do not live together and that they do not even live in the same city or state.
Gerry lives at his lake house in Northern Indiana, while Theresa is at home in New Jersey with her family.
But there are no problems in paradise yet. The couple is only trying out a long-distance relationship for now, as they have roots and families — and in Theresa’s case, careers — in their respective cities.

Gerry and Theresa haven’t decided on their new hometown yet, but they’re keeping an eye on Charleston, South Carolina.
Theresa’s son and grandchildren live nearby.
Last month, ABC announced The Golden Bachelorette. One of the ladies from Gerry’s season is chosen as the first Golden Bachelorette.
Joan Vassos, 61, Leslie Fhima, 65, and Faith Martin, 61 are said to be the leading contenders USA today.
Leslie was the runner-up on Gerry’s season and Faith finished in third place. Joan left the series early when her daughter suffered medical complications after giving birth.
Since Joan left in the third episode of the season, she’s a great candidate because viewers don’t know her that well.
Due to the age of the Golden Bachelorette candidates, some suitors will be younger than the minimum age of 60 that was set for Gerry’s first season.

The Golden Bachelorette debuts in September.
The Golden Bachelor show was watched by 43.4 million viewers after 35 days of viewing across linear and streaming platforms.
People reported that it is also the number one show for new unscripted series among adults 18 to 49 this season (0.84 rating), according to ABC.
Additionally, The Golden Bachelor was ABC’s first ever unscripted series premiere on Hulu.
