In his first interview on Late & Live he said: ‘I had the best time, I went in with one agenda and I achieved it in five days.

“I don’t consider myself a celebrity, I’m just related to someone who is a big celebrity.”
When host AJ Odudu asked who Kate would like to win now that he has left the house, he replied, “Levi Roots, I have so much respect for him and if he wins, he will use it for good.”
Will asked again, “And do you think Kate would agree?”
Gary replied ‘100%, she puts other people first’
During Friday’s episode, Gary shocked his housemates by showing an emotional side as he branded himself a ‘national villain’.
Gary said he hasn’t had “real peace” after admitting to assaulting his wife.
During a task, housemates are transported to a heavenly sanctuary. Fern Britton asks Gary if he has “found peace within.”

He replied saying, “I think peace is something we should always strive for. I thought I was living a really cool life, until something happens to you.
“One day I was Gary, a businessman laughing with a wonderful family. And the next minute I’m a national villain.
“So if I’m honest, I don’t really know what real peace is.”
Kate’s mother’s brother, Carole Middleton, was fined £5,000 and given a community order in November 2017 after pleading guilty to one charge of assault.
His wife accused him of taking drugs, the court was told, and a London taxi driver witnessed her being knocked to the ground outside their home.
Gary’s inclusion in the show was criticized by Women’s Aid, who said that “the inclusion of men convicted of abuse in entertainment programs will already be a sign that these crimes are not taken seriously” and the charity advised the program to consider his appearance .
In a statement released on the show, he previously said: “I am not perfect and I made a mistake, a personal feud seven years ago that came to light publicly and that I have worked endlessly for seven years to rectify.
“The crime was committed a long time ago, but my regret remains.”

ITV has reportedly been forced to ‘carefully edit’ Gary’s comments about Kate and King Charles on Celebrity Big Brother.
Jennie Bond told it the mirror. ‘Everything Gary says about the Royal Family is a headline, it’s great for the show, it’s publicity for ITV.
‘And yet they must be aware that they have a duty to safeguard and protect the health of the individual, not to mention the royal family.
‘So I imagine lawyers will look through it, but yes, there will be some careful editing. I think they can give even the slightest inkling as to what is going on with the Royal Family – with the Harry situation, Catherine’s health or the King’s health, they will do their very best to keep that to see.’
Gary, who made his money through recruitment and was once worth £30million, is said to have been kept at arm’s length by the Middleton’s in recent years.
This is despite the fact that he attended William and Kate’s wedding in London in 2011 and that of Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton to James Matthews in Berkshire six years later.
Gary regularly speaks out in support of Kate, who calls him ‘Uncle G’, and has previously praised her as ‘the most spectacular person I have ever met’.
Kate’s mother had harsh words for her brother before he entered the Big Brother house, fearing he would reveal secrets about the royal family.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Gary said he was read the riot act by Kate’s mother Carole and her father Michael. They’re not happy about him going on Celebrity Big Brother. It’s infuriating for them. Kate doesn’t need this stress.’
During Monday’s explosive launch episode, as Gary prepared to enter the house, host AJ Odudu wasted no time in asking him if his royal niece was coming to watch. Gary joked: ‘She’ll hide behind the sofa if she watches’.
