The Buffalo Bills’ Sunday Night clash with the New York Giants took a worrisome turn when running back Damien Harris was taken off the field in an ambulance.

Teammates immediately called for medical help after the running back was involved in a nasty collision with Bobby Okereke shortly before half-time. Harris lay motionless on his back as doctors and staff rushed to his aid.

The terrifying scenes come less than a year after teammate Damar Hamlin needed resuscitation on the field and the safety was visibly emotional as he watched from the sidelines.

However, there was an encouraging sign before Harris was taken off the field. The 26-year-old gave the thumbs up after being put on a stretcher.

Soon an injury update came from the Bills, revealing that Harris suffered a neck injury. Fortunately, he had movement in his arms and legs and was taken to the hospital for testing.
