A 13-year-old aspiring designer has become Louis Vuitton's youngest-ever intern after his mother proudly shared his work on social media and joked that he was “only mildly passionate” about their brand.

In November, Louise Odessa from Paris posted photos of her son Milan's sketches on X, formerly known as Twitter, in the hope of giving him some work experience.

In her posts, the mother explained how much she wanted to nurture Milan's creative talents and knew that he would not want to intern at 'just any (fashion) house'.

Milan – who suffers from attention disorders – drew several designs for sneakers, luggage and loungewear in the style of Louis Vuitton, his favorite fashion house.

La Libre reports Milan's sketches were then picked up by a local French publication, which then caught the attention of Louis Vuitton.

The prestigious fashion house was so impressed with Milan's designs that they offered him an internship, which he completed last week.

During an interview with BFMTV Milan says about the experience: 'After two days I felt more comfortable there than at school.

“I really felt in my community. It's magic. For me it's the beginning of life.'

During the internship, Milan continued his sketches and created a suitcase design in line with the brand's creative vision.

Louise wrote in her original post: 'HELP, I absolutely need to find an internship for my 13 year old son Milan… and not just any house…

“My son is very passionate about your brand and teachings.

“He is also very good at Photoshop on a graphics tablet for his creations and plans to pursue a professional baccalaureate and BTS in fashion professions.

'I have never seen him as surprised as the day he introduced me to your exhibition for the Samaritaine, he knew a lot about the partnerships and the history of Louis Vuitton.

In addition, Louise has added four sketches of Milan's designs, which have been viewed by more than 200,000 X users.

In one drawing, the 13-year-old imagined a Louis Vuitton high-top sneaker, complete with the brand's famous monogram logo.

The sketches also include a tracksuit, a high-heeled shoe and an innovative women's dress design.
