FRED OMONDI: TWO BABY MAMAS TURN UP AMID HILARIOUS REQUEST

Eric Omondi has revealed that his late brother, Fred Omondi, had two children, despite Fred previously stating he only had one daughter.

Fred Omondi tragically passed away on the morning of Saturday, June 15. He was on a bodaboda that was hit by a Forward Travellers matatu. He died on the spot, and his bike rider, Sylvester, died a few days later in the hospital. Fred was headed home after performing at a club along Mombasa Road.

During Fred’s memorial at the Chiromo Funeral Parlor chapel on June 28, Eric light-heartedly pleaded with any other women who might have Fred’s children to come forward.

Eric humorously mentioned, “Kuna watoto huko nyumbani wanakaa Mulamwah. Wale watu wanakuja wanasema wako na watoto wa Fred tafadhali wafanane na Fred. Wawili washafika home.”

(There are two children at home who look like Mulamwah. Those women who come claim they have Fred’s children, please I hope they look like him. Two have reached home already.)

His comment left the mourners laughing, adding a light moment to an otherwise somber event.

Fred Omondi had previously shared his pride and love for his daughter, Arielle, in an interview with Switch TV. He said, “Someone I’m happy to own, I have a very lovely daughter. She is an angel anaitwa (her name is), Arielle.”

During the memorial, Terence Creative also encouraged any woman with Fred’s child to step forward so the family can support and raise them.

He said, “Wale wako na watoto wa Fred tafadhali mjitokeze ili tuwasaidie kulea watoto hao. (Those who have children with Fred, please come forward so we can help raise them.)”

Eric Omondi expressed his gratitude to Kenyans who contributed over Ksh1 million to his brother’s funeral expenses.
