Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand claims the Red Devils are in crisis.
Ferdinand, 44, launched an impassioned tirade ahead of the Red Devils’ Premier League match with Fulham.
Erik ten Hag’s side came into the game at Craven Cottage after defeating Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup.
The Red Devils also suffered a major defeat to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in their last league match, with Ferdinand revealing that people are starting to question Ten Hag.
Speaking on TNT Sports ahead of United’s clash with the Cottagers, the ex-England defender said: ‘In times like these, when it’s a crisis – I believe this is a crisis now – it’s not about the performance, it’s about getting three points on the board.

‘That is what counts. You can’t play well and get beat and expect people to have your back. You have to get the results and the performance later.”
Ferdinand also claims that it is the first time in Ten Hag’s term that people have started to doubt him.
‘This is the first time in his term of office, Erik ten Hag, that he has been questioned. It’s the first week that I think people are really questioning him,” he continued.
“I think the club and everything else is questioning his tenure here, which has been difficult, but personally all eyes are on him. What are you going to do now?
‘Are you going to turn the tide? He now has big questions to answer.”
