Celebrated Radio Maisha presenter Gathoni Njuguna alias This Is Gathoni has shaved her hair.

The renowned Radio Maisha presenter infact decided to take the big step few hours ago, and even flaunted her new look where she clearly had the short hair albeit dyed.

Gathoni Njuguna also went ahead to disclose the reason why she did so via a short video clip, and revealed that she had secretly been suffering from Alopecia.

According to the sassy radio personality, she has had the autoimmune disorder that caused her to unpredictably lose her hair since 2019, but had always kept it hidden from her fans.

The ‘Staarabika’ show host went on to reveal that she has had the condition since child birth, and she at first had assumed that it was brought about by hormonal imbalance.

Many people even told Gathoni Njuguna that her hair would grow with time, but unfortunately it never did for all those years.

After finally getting tired of keeping it a secret, the top Radio Maisha presenter finally decided to disclose it to her Instagram followers on Tuesday, August 29.

In the video that the media personality shared on her Instagram account she also flaunted how the hair loss has been happening.

What was clear it has been specifically taking place on the sides of her head because she had hair in other places on the head.

In another post, Gathoni Njuguna also shared her first day experience with short hair and said that it was still hard to accept that she had shaved her hair.

This is to the extent that she had to wear a wig and a hat for her Tuesday night show on Radio Maisha because she was still in denial.
