The 1500 M and 5000 M current world record holder Faith Kipyegon was yesterday at Nyayo National Stadium participating in the ongoing Kenya’s trials for the upcoming Budapest world championships in August. Faith was trying out for the 5000 M and she qualified after beating the rest of the field. She is also the reigning champion in the 1500 M so that gave her a wild card in the 1500 M and will be defending her title in the same.
After qualifying for the 5000M, Faith confirmed that she would double the 1500 M and 5000 M at the championships in Budapest.
