Experts reveal the secrets behind what it takes to make red wine taste its best.

It is recommended that the drink – made from dark-colored grapes and believed to benefit the heart if drunk in moderation – is allowed to ‘breathe’ after corking and before drinking. The process normally takes 1-2 hours.

But if you don’t have time to wait, wine enthusiast Josh gave a quick demonstration for WineExpress.com on other ways to ensure red wine is at its best by the time you’re ready to consume it.

Josh confirmed this in the video posted the WineExpress.com blog that a milk frother ‘is really a wonderful breathing space for your red wine.’

He added: ‘Put it in, let it run, the wine will be thoroughly aerated.

‘What you immediately notice is that the nose really opens up… You hear those bubbles when you taste it.’

The wine will also have a frothy appearance that will go down after proper timing.

Josh continued, “I get those nice, smooth, smooth flavors that the aeration gives them.”

Two wine drinkers were absolutely impressed by the demonstration, one even tried the method himself.

One person said: ‘Wow! I tried it and love the results.”

Another said: ‘Very cool tip! Thanks for sending this! Fun to watch! It makes me want to pour a glass and try it right away.’
