Filming for the 2024 season of Married At First Sight is well and truly underway.

Season 11 will feature a diverse mix of participants of different ages and ethnicities.

This week five brides walked down the aisle to a complete stranger as production on the much anticipated reality show commenced.

Exclusive photos taken by Daily Mail Australia give a behind the scenes look at the ‘wholesome’ weddings that took place in Sydney this week.

Sydney-based Sara Messa was partnered with Gold Coast based Tim Calwell.

The glamorous nutritionist and hunky e-commerce marketing guru tied the knot on board Starship Sydney, a luxury floating venue featuring 360° views of the Harbour.

Sara wore an off-the-shoulder white gown that featured a long tail and sheer flared sleeves.

The blonde beauty wore her blonde hair in a low bun and clipped together with a white veil.

Sara appeared pensive as she lifted the skirt of her dress to prevent it from getting dirty, while also revealing a glimpse at her white heels.

Her groom, Tim was later seen arriving at the venue, sporting a black tuxedo and black shoes.

He decided to go tie-free for the occasion, and completed his look wearing a pink flower attached to his jacket.

Sara and Tim were kept apart by producers, sitting at different ends of the boat until it was time for them to meet.

Upon meeting, the pair immediately hit it off, with Sara holding back her tears, while chatting to her groom.

Perth-based Collins Christian was paired with a glamorous brunette named Natalie.

Her groom, Tim was later seen arriving at the venue, sporting a black tuxedo and black shoes

He decided to go tie-free for the occasion, and completed his look wearing a pink flower attached to his jacket

The beaming bride, couldn’t wipe the smile off her face after walking down the aisle to find, Collins, of Indian and African background, waiting for her on Tuesday.

The couple also immediately hit of, both smiling cheek-to-cheek as they exchanged vows in front of their close friends and family.

While little is known about Natalie, according to friends, Collins is a ‘super funny, really nice guy’ who has been trying to get on MAFS for years.

Her A-line wedding dress gave onlookers a glimpse at her tattoo collection, which included several words written on her wrist and a large rose on her shoulder.

He looked calm as he strutted towards the Victorian home, which previously hosted the wedding of KIIS FM shock-jock Kyle Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston

At one point, he held an umbrella over his head to protect from the harsh sun

However, he quickly ditched it as he went about adjusting his suit once more

The new season of MAFS Australia is expected to push the boundaries like never before by featuring the most diverse cast yet, Daily Mail Australia can reveal.

Other participants include Perth-based marketing maven Lauren Dunn, Gold Coast-based professional boxer Jayden Eynaud, and influencer Cassandra Allen.

Among the grooms is a real estate agent, tour director, chief final officer and entertainment manager at a popular bar.

The brother of former MAFS groom Mitch Eynaud is also set to star on the upcoming season of the Channel Nine dating show.

The show’s past records with LGBTQ+ representation have been shaky, to say the least.

One insider emphasised, ‘It’s important to get this right. We’re not just adding diversity for the sake of it, but to genuinely represent the many colours of love.’

Expert Mel Schilling has previously confessed to the experiment’s shortcomings in representing LGBTQ+ relationships.

‘For us, it was really important to find people who genuinely wanted to find love. We didn’t want to simply match people based on sexual orientation,’ she told Metro last year.

Schilling admitted that the Australian series ‘got that horribly wrong’ in the early seasons, suggesting that ‘great lessons’ could be gleaned from the experience.
