Dwight Howard has hit back at his online ‘haters’ in two bizarre clips on TikTok, one of which showed the former NBA center standing behind a roaring lion.
Howard, who currently plays in Taiwan’s professional basketball league, is facing charges of sexual assault and battery following an incident that occurred at his home in Georgia in 2021.
The 37-year-old is being sued in his home state by a man named Stephen Harper, who claims he was sexually assaulted in July 2021.
On Wednesday, Howard denied sexually assaulting Harper and instead claimed through his lawyer that the two had had a consensual encounter.
And in light of the lawsuit, he has also responded to his apparent “haters” on social media in two unusual videos shared to his TikTok account.

Howard, who is facing sexual assault charges, stands behind a roaring lion in one video
In the first of the clips, Howard is initially seen typing on his computer, before picking up the phone and slowly descending into a vicious rage, made all the more extreme as the video is sped up.
The post is captioned, “How they want me to respond to haters online,” along with a laughing emoji.
However, the second post manages to top it in terms of craziness.
In this clip, Howard stands behind what appears to be a real lion as it lets out a menacing roar, before the former Orlando Magic and LA Lakers star tries his hand at his own lion.
The video was a response to a post from another TikTok user that said, “We just wanna know who Kitty is, bro.”
The message appeared to be a reference to Howard’s current legal battle with Harper, who claimed in his initial complaint that the basketball player surprised him by bringing out a man dressed as a woman who called herself “Kitty.”
Howard claimed that he and Harper took off their clothes and “engaged in consensual kissing” in his bedroom, while also claiming that Harper knew “Kitty” would be at his house.
However, Harper claims he was forced to participate in a threesome against his will while being “pinned down and forced to stay in place” by the 6-foot-4, 265-pound Howard.

Harper’s lawsuit also includes allegations of intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment against Howard.
Howard’s lawyer claims the former NBA star is the victim of an extortion attempt.
“The allegations against Mr. Howard are disputed,” Bailey told ESPN. ‘Mr. Howard plans to present the truth.
“The truth is that Mr. Howard blocked Mr. Harper on social media and was then faced with two options: pay to protect his reputation or make a fabricated story public.
“Despite being an easy target due to the subject matter and his celebrity status, Mr. Howard chose to rely on the legal system and will rely on any future lawsuits to speak for themselves.”
