The 29-year-old daughter of a former MLB pitcher has been missing since last week after a visit to a bar with her ex-boyfriend, police reported. Brenna Swindell, daughter of Greg Swindell, was last seen on 22 August at Poodies Hilltop Bar in Spicewood, Texas, near Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.
Swindell and her ex-boyfriend, Morgan Guidry, were at the bar around 10:20 p.m. Both have been untraceable since Thursday, with their phones turned off since Friday, police stated. Swindell is described by police as being around 5-foot-4 and weighing between 120 to 140 pounds. She has brown hair, hazel eyes, and tattoos on both arms.
Authorities have identified a vehicle associated with Swindell, a white 2022 Kia Carnival minivan bearing Texas license plate VFS 7528. She was “possibly seen” in Colorado Springs or Denver. Further information was not provided by the police. However, a post on Greg Swindell’s Facebook noted that a license plate reader in Colorado detected the Kia, owned by Brenna Swindell, on Friday night. Greg Swindell also posted on his X account, urging people in Idaho to watch for the vehicle.

“Ms. Swindell has not maintained regular contact with family and friends,” Austin police wrote in a statement. “APD is concerned for her safety and immediate welfare.” Brenna Swindell has three children, according to her mother, Sarah, who posted on Greg Swindell’s Facebook page.
Greg Swindell had a 17-season career in the majors, initially as a starting pitcher and later as a relief pitcher. He played for six teams, including Cleveland, Cincinnati, Houston, Minnesota, Boston, and Arizona. He ended his career with a 123-122 record, a 3.86 ERA, and a World Series title with the Diamondbacks in 2001.
He was the No. 2 overall pick in the 1986 MLB draft from the University of Texas at Austin.
