Ewan McGregor joined his actress daughter Clara to promote their new movie You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in Karlsbad, Czech Republic on Sunday.
The Trainspotting star, 52, sported a quirky moustache which he has grown for his role in upcoming Paramount+ miniseries A Gentleman in Moscow.
Ewan looked smart for the appearance in a brown pin-striped suit which he layered over a casual T-shirt.
Slicking back his dark locks he completed the look with white trainers and a pair of dark sunglasses.
After taking to the stage he referred to his bushy facial hair saying: ‘This is my older, smaller moustache. At the beginning [my character in the upcoming series] has got a big, monster, curly one. You are seeing the better side of it.’

Meanwhile Clara, who Ewan shares with ex-wife Eve Mavrakis, put on a very leggy display in a black mini-dress.
The frock featured a white trim and saucy slit and she completed the stylish ensemble with a pair of leather brogues.
Donning shades, Clara styled her brunette tresses loose and sported a radiant palette of make-up.
You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder, is a film conceived by Clara and writer Vera Bulder and Ewan discussed what it was like working with his daughter.
Saying: ‘I’m just anticipating them writing me lots of roles. It’s a very good way to keep her old dad in work.’
Ewan and his eldest child have had a rocky relationship, since she famously branded her dad’s second wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead, 37, a ‘piece of trash’ and her dad an ‘a***hole’
The father and daughter have repaired their relationship over the past five years and recently completed work on their first joint project.
The film focuses on a father daughter road trip, with Ewan’s character driving his daughter, played by Clara, to rehab.

While the drive is fictional, the premise of a dad trying to help his daughter is based on Clara’s own experience.
With Ewan saying at the SXSW Conference in Texas in March: ‘I sat down to read it and I was blown away. It was a beautiful story about us. There’s things that aren’t accurate, or are bent, but they still reflect our estrangement for a while,’
‘The drive is fictional. But for a couple of years, we sort of lost her. So the storyline is about her realising that she needs the help her father’s trying to give.
‘Along the way, their relationship is healed somewhat.’
He later mused in a rare comment about his messy split from Clara’s mother: ‘A divorce in a family is a bomb going off in everyone’s life – my children’s lives. The sort of healing of that is ongoing.’
Ewan was married to his first wife Eve Mavrakis, 56, for 22 years, and the couple share four daughters together. But in 2017 he was pictured kissing his Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth, 37, leading to his 2020 divorce and his second marriage last year.
