They might not have attended the Barbie premiere together as a couple – but it seems Eva Mendes has found another way to support her partner Ryan Gosling’s new movie.
On Wednesday, the actress, 49, shared a video on her Instagram account of herself grooving to Dua Lipa’s song ‘Dance the Night’ from Gosling’s, 42, latest film Barbie.
‘Why must I make that stupid pout when I start to dance ?! Anyone suffer from this seriously lame condition?,’ Mendes wrote in the caption of her Instagram video post.
In the clip, Mendes is seen descending down a set of grey-colored stairs. She wore a long, green-colored, floral patterned bodice summer dress, which showed off her cleavage.
The 49-year-old wore her long red hair, which was slightly styled, down.

As Mendes walked down the steps barefoot with a pout on her face, she proceeded to lift up her skirt and began playfully swinging it from side to side.
The Barbie film, which stars Oscar-nominated actress Margot Robbie as the titular character and Gosling as Ken, was released on July 21. The plot of the movie follows Barbie and Ken on a journey of self-discovery in the real world following their expulsion from the Barbie Land.
Mendes and Gosling have been together since 2011 while in the middle of production for the film The Place Beyond The Pines. The movie was released in 2013.
Although the couple have yet to tie the knot, they have two daughters together: eight-year-old Esmeralda (celebrates her ninth birthday next month) and seven-year-old Amada.
Mendes and Gosling are notoriously private about their relationship and try their best to keep their personal lives and their children away from the spotlight. They rarely pose together for photos at red carpet events.
Although she didn’t attend the premiere of her partner’s film, Mendes has found other ways to support Gosling’s movie.
In May, she poked fun of the world wide press tour that Gosling and his castmates went on to promote the Barbie movie by sharing a photo on Instagram of herself donning a Ken-emblazoned tee.
‘Got that real big Kenergy. Coz girls is players too,’ Mendes wrote in the caption of her May 15 Instagram post.

Despite doing their best to keep their personal lives private, the Barbie movie promotion tour is one of the few moments where Mendes and Gosling have opened up about their relationship.
In an interview with Access Hollywood while at the world premiere for the Barbie movie in Los Angeles on July 9, Gosling was asked how he felt about Mendes’s subtle support for the film with her various Instagram posts.
‘[Eva’s Instagram posts about the Barbie movie] means everything. It means everything,’ The Oscar-nominated actor stated.
With her single ‘Dance the Night’ Dua Lipa was one of several well-known artists who contributed an original song for Barbie: The Album, the soundtrack album for the Barbie movie.
In addition to being part of the film’s soundtrack, the singer, 27, portrayed the Mermaid Barbies in the Barbie movie, which also served as her acting debut.
