The couple have purchased a property in Hawthorne, Queensland with the intention of carrying out major renovations.

It was bought at auction for $2.8 million by the couple’s fledgling real estate development company, Golconda Property Group.

The family home is spread over two spacious levels and features five extra large bedrooms and two bathrooms.

It is made in a classic Queenslander style and built in the 1900s. It has polished wooden floorboards and an outdoor patio.

It is described as being located in ‘one of Brisbane’s most coveted suburbs’ and is close to Hawthorne Cinema and major attractions.

Erin and Ben shared the good news of their purchase on Instagram, along with images of the home.

‘Pretty proud of our @golcondapropertygroup this week! Now planning a renovation of our new Queenslander investment. What should we call her?’ wrote Erin.
