Comedian Eric Omondi had to respond to allegations of being an irresponsible father during a candid interview with broadcaster Oga Obinna.
In the interview, Obinna called on the comedian to respond to allegations that he neglected the duties of his alleged son with Jackie Maribe.
Eric, however, seemed to avoid answering the question directly, saying that he is not free to discuss the matter because he is afraid of being brought to court.Following the comedian’s cryptic response, Obinna advised him that there is an option for the parents to do DNA and confirmed that the child they were talking about resembles him.
Early last year, Eric Omondi said that there is no enmity between him and Jacque Maribe who is allegedly his baby Mama.
In an interview with Mpasho, Omondi said that his relationship with Mrs. Maribe is now good following the good conversation they shared in 2021.
Omondi, who is believed to be the father of the Maribe’s child, said that although they did not rekindle their relationship, they are friends.
The comedian however made it clear that he will not be showing his relationship with the co-parent in public.
In 2021, the two artists who were alleged to have had a romantic relationship in the past years took off their drama in public and threw verbal sparks at each other related to parenting responsibilities.
While they continued to fight each other, at one time he claimed that he had intimate with Maribe only once in 2012 after they shared several bottles of wine.
The comedian who is not short of drama claimed that he made sure he used protection when he shared love with Maribe.
The two were later reconciled by businessman Simon Kabu and finally apologized to Kenyans for what they said in public.
