Emily Blunt looked as glamorous as ever as she joined a dapper Cillian Murphy at the Oppenheimer premiere in Paris on Tuesday.

The co-stars both put on very sophisticated display as they joined their fellow cast members at the Cinema Le Grand Rex to celebrate their hotly-anticipated biopic.

Emily, 40, cut an elegant figure in a green satin gown with padded shoulders and a collared neckline as she made sure to capture attention.

She added a few extra inches to her frame with a pair of silver pointed stilettos and let her outfit do all the talking as she simply accessorised with droplet earrings.

The Mary Poppins star, who is playing physicist Oppenheimer’s wife Kitty in the biological thriller, styled her golden locks in glamorous waves.

He styled his smart ensemble with a beige shirt and a matching tie, while he completed the look with patent black boots.

The Peaky Blinders star styled his dark locks in a middle parting as he smiled for photographs alongside his A-list co-stars.

Cillian is playing Dr J. Robert Oppenheimer, the ‘father of the atomic bomb’, in the £81million blockbuster directed by Christopher Nolan.

Oppenheimer was the director of the laboratory which designed the atomic bomb during World War Two as part of the top-secret Manhattan Project.

The film is being adapted from the 2006 book American Prometheus: The Triumph And Tragedy Of J. Robert Oppenheimer, by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin.

The book, which won the Pulitzer Prize, details Oppenheimer’s personal life and his time leading the Manhattan Project in the early and mid-1940s.

The film is set to be released on July 21 and a whole host of the A-list cast flocked to Paris to celebrate its release on Tuesday.

Also in attendance at the premiere was Matt Damon, who is starring as Lieutenant General Leslie Groves – an engineer who directed the Manhattan Project.

Matt, 52, cut a dapper figure in a smart navy blue suit, which he styled with a plain white T-shirt and brown boots.

He styled his silver locks in a slicked back style and appeared to be in jovial spirits as he smiled and waved at photographers.

Matt was also sweetly supported by his daughters Isabella, 17, Gia, 14, and Stella, 12 – who he shares with Luciana Barroso. 

Luciana’s daughter Alexia, 24, from her former relationship with Arbello Barroso, also smiled for group snaps with her sisters.

Robert Downey Jr also looked as dapper as ever in a dark blue suit, which he teamed with a matching satin tie and black shoes.

The Hollywood star, 58, sported a pair of square black tinted glasses and appeared in good form as he playfully posed for the cameras.

He is portraying Lewis Strauss, who served two terms on the US Atomic Energy Commission.

The cast is also made up of Florence Pugh – who plays Oppenheimer’s mistress – Kenneth Branagh, Rami Malek and Josh Hartnett.

Gary Oldman is also said to have a cameo in the epic as as President Truman.

Truman met Oppenheimer after the bombs were used in 1945, killing 200,000 people, and Oppenheimer said that he felt he had blood on his hands.

Truman had little use for such pangs of conscience and dismissed him as a ‘crybaby scientist’.

The cast have been busy promoting the film together over the past few weeks and Robert Downey Jr – who plays – Lewis Strauss recently shared a snap of them all.

He posted the picture of himself with Matt, Cillian, Emily and John Krasinski, and even hinted at a possible cameo from Emily’s husband.

‘Linking up with my Oppenheimer cast mates…wait, is that a Krasinski photo bomb or might there be a surprise cameo???’ he captioned a photo shared to his Instagram on Sunday.
