Kamala Harris happily clapped along to a Spanish protest song before abruptly stopping after it emerged the lyrics were aimed at the vice president and the administration’s foreign policy.

Multiple videos show Harris rhythmically clapping, smiling and observing as a group banged drums and sang in Spanish during her trip to Puerto Rico on Friday.

After an aide leaned over and spoke to Harris, the vice president slowly stopped clapping, lowered her hands and adopted a more serious facial expression — almost a frown. It is believed that the assistant translated the text to Harris.

The song was a protest song that asked the question: ‘We want to know, Kamala, what are you doing? We want to know, Kamala, what’s going to happen?’

Harris initially enjoyed what she thought was a nice song, but it seemed she knew the translation of the lyrics from executive director Mariana Reyes, who accompanied her on the trip. The song took aim at the Vice President, the Biden administration in general and their policies.

Half a dozen demonstrators who marched in the streets in front of the vice president expressed in song their support for the Palestinian people amid the conflict between Israel and Hamas terrorists in Gaza, and also for Haiti, as gang violence has rocked the island’s government is in danger of collapsing completely.

“Long live free Palestine and Haiti,” they say in the song, according to a translation by DailyMail.com.

Harris was meeting with community leaders during a tour of the Coyco Community Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Friday, March 22, when she was confronted by the protest singers.

“The vice president arrived and made history. We want to know: what do you think of the colony?’ the singers outside the community asked.

During VP Harris’ trip to Puerto Rico, there were many demonstrators protesting her and President Joe Biden’s policies regarding foreign conflicts in both Haiti and Israel.

People burned American flags in the streets and held up posters with inflammatory messages such as: “Kamala Harris War Criminal.”

Another said: “We did it, Joe: 14,861 children killed,” referring to the death toll in Gaza.
