Moore appeared to hit the ground face down after being tackled by Jets No. 57 CJ Mosely with one minute, 44 seconds left in the second quarter of Thursday night’s game.

Moore had some of the field’s grass in his grill and as the camera filmed him lying on his back, his arms and hands seemed to jerk fearfully into the air.

His concerned teammates motioned to the sideline to get the coaches onto the field, while Mosely appeared to carefully step around his opponent.

The 23-year-old was later ruled out of the match due to concussion.

The incident sparked a number of concerned responses from doctors watching the match.

Dr. Evan Jefferies, a California-based physical therapy doctor, wrote of X: “Unfortunately, these are involuntary movements due to a brain injury for Elijah Moore.”

Jeff Mueller, another physical therapy doctor, wrote, “Involuntary limb movement occurs when there is a disruption between the brain and the muscles.

“Every concussion is different, but for Moore it could be an absence of several weeks.”
