EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: What would you get two Gettys for their joint birthday bash? Ivy Getty celebrates her 29th birthday with her grandfather Gordon as he turns 90

There is a 61-year age gap between heiress Ivy Getty, 29, and her composer granddad Gordon Getty, who turned 90 this week, but the pair bridged the generation gap by hosting a joint birthday party in San Francisco to celebrate their big day.

Gordon – the son of oil magnate Jean Paul Getty, once the richest man in the world – and his late wife Ann raised Ivy from childhood as the billionaire walked her down the aisle to marry photographer Toby Engel in 2021. When asked about the secret to his longevity, Gordon reveals, “Red meat and red wine.”
