The actors have taken on the leading roles of married spies ‘John and Jane Smith’ in the remake of the 2005 spy thriller, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
And the pair put on a joint performance as they smiled for the cameras as they celebrated the remake of the series, which will be released on Prime Video on February 2.
For the occasion, Donald, 40, cut a trendy figure in a pink knitted set, which he styled with smart brown loafers.

The pair made a joint appearance on the red carpet as they smiled for the cameras as they celebrated the remake of the series, which will be released on Prime Video on February 2.
Meanwhile, Maya, 36, put on a glamorous show in a floaty black dress with a keyhole cutout and ruffles.
Like the Brad and Angelina-led film, the series follows “John and Jane Smith,” a married couple who seem like regular neighbors at first glance, but behind closed doors are actually spies.
The show was created by Donald, Francesca Sloane and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was originally set to play Mrs. Smith, but Phoebe parted ways with the show due to “creative differences” and was eventually replaced by Maya.
A trailer for the series was released last month, showing the pair hiding their spy identities while trying to pass themselves off as a seemingly normal couple.
The clip opens with the couple getting to know each other over a cup of coffee, with John asking Jane, “Is this your first time in New York?”
‘Should we ask each other that?’ Jane answers before asking the more shocking question: “Have you ever killed anyone?”
‘No no. Not really,” he replies, before scenes show them presenting themselves as a happily married couple as they entertain friends in their apartment.
During a chat with a friend (played by Sarah Paulson), they claim to be computer software engineers.

“What are you two doing?” she asks.
“We are computer software, er, engineers,” they say somewhat awkwardly, apparently not quite clear about their stories.
During a dinner party, a friend asks, “How’s the intimacy between you two?”, prompting Jane to grin.
But when they’re not pretending to be ordinary citizens, they lead dangerous yet adventurous lives full of explosions, chases, fights and shootings.
In one scene, the couple is seen moving an apparently lifeless body near their bathtub.
It seems like true love eventually blossoms between the pair, with the duo seen exchanging a kiss at one point.
A description for the show on YouTube reads: “Two lonely strangers get jobs at a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travel and a dream house in Manhattan.
‘The catch: new identities in an arranged marriage as Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith. Now paired together, John and Jane navigate a high-risk mission each week while also facing a new relationship milestone.

The show previously starred Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the role Maya currently fills before she left due to “creative differences.”

Donald revealed the news during a controversial piece for Interview magazinewhere the actor interviewed himself.
During his self-interview, Donald confirmed that they had “classic creative differences,” but added that he thinks they are still friends.
‘What does it mean to be a friend? I still like her. I guess she still likes me,” he said.
In September 2021, The Hollywood Reporter said that Donald and Phoebe are still friends and that the split was “amicable.”
