DJ Khaled insists on being CARRIED from his car to the stage by two bodyguards for Miami Beach gig as he refuses to dirty his Jordans – as fans slam the rapper’s ‘rich ignorance’

DJ Khaled was carried from his car to the stage by two bodyguards for his performance in Miami Beach – all because he didn’t want to get his Jordans dirty.

The 48-year-old rapper took the stage in Miami South Beach on Sunday after meeting fans at sneaker and streetwear store Snipes USA.

But the star insisted he was carried from his car onto a truck and then onto the stage to avoid sand getting on his Nike Jordan sneakers.

“I don’t want to get my Jordans dirty. Can I ask someone to help me?’ DJ Khaled asked as two of his bodyguards came to his aid in a video the rapper shared on Instagram. “Please, someone help me.”

He added, “Thank you brothers, I appreciate it. I can’t mess up the J’s.’

In the caption of the Instagram clip, Khaled once again teased his two new collaborations with Drake on his next album.

He wrote: ‘When I say 2 (peace sign), you say 2 Dragons. New album in the making. (sic)’

The rapper, whose full name is Khaled Mohammed Khaled, has been working with his frequent collaborator on the songs for his upcoming 14th studio album – the follow-up to 2022’s ‘God Did’ – due out this year.

But people were quite impressed with the rapper’s stunt, decrying his “rich ignorance.”

“Evidence can’t inflame you,” said one, while another added: “Rich ignorance at its finest. He doesn’t even know how derogatory he is behaving… smh.’

Another person commented: ‘What a (clown emoji) all he had to do was wear another pair and carry them inside. Impact is a great drug.’

“When I say, ‘That’s not in my job description,’ I mean that,” a fourth added.

Even children’s author and activist Ty Allan Jackson denounced the rapper, adding, “Our children are watching this foolishness. These ‘celebrities’ need to act more like people than self-proclaimed kings.”

Several others called out DJ Khaled for being carried by two black men during Black History Month.

“Thanks brothers, I appreciate it,” he told the guards he helped him, “I can’t screw up the J’s.”

While someone else said: ‘Boy bye!!!!! WHY is he doing all this in BLACK HISTORY MONTH smh and lol.”

‘Now Khaled! Not during Black History Month, please and thank you!” said one, while another added, “What’s going on here with the slave owner.”

It comes after DJ Khaled was pictured being pulled over by a police officer on a motorcycle while riding a golf cart near his Miami home on Thursday.

The famous music producer and golf enthusiast, 48, pulled over to the side of the road and then chatted with a police officer.

It was not immediately clear whether the officer had issued him a citation during the exchange.

The New Orleans resident did not appear to be wearing a seat belt during the day and was seen holding his phone.
