Eve Mungai’s ex-boyfriend Director Trevor has advised musician Stevo Simple Boy to venture into content creation.
In a post shared via his official Instagram page, Trevor stated that the artiste should explore new avenues of making money such as content creation.
He expressed that with the challenges Stevo is currently facing in the music industry, it would be strategic for him to venture into content creation while making music on the side.
“Despite garnering widespread aclaim for music, Stevo Simple Boy has faced ongoing challenges in sustaining himself financially within the music industry. Recognizing the need for alternative avenues, and I see it as a strategic decision for him to explore content creation as a means to generate income and connect with his audience in new and innovative ways.
“However, it should be noted that this does not mean that Stevo Simple Boy is to fully quit music. He will continue to release music on the side as he continued with his content creation just like Diana Bahati,” Trevor said.
The content creator assured the musician that he would fully support his craft and manage his content.
He also pointed out that he is willing to see Stevo through his journey
“I am willing to support him fully and take the initiative to manage his content creation career. Stevo Simple Boy will begin by explaining what transpired yesterday and the events that followed the incident in length on his YouTube platform. That will mark the beginning of this new content creation journey and I am willing to be there to see him through success,” he added.
Stevo collapsed during a live broadcast on the night of Friday, March 16, 2024, raising concern among his fans and viewers.
The ‘Mihadarati’ crooner collapsed as he was engaging in a conversation with ’10 Over 10′ show host Azeezah Hashim.
At the time, Stevo was sharing deets of his experience growing up in Kibera slums. The show was stopped for a while as Stevo was attended to.
After the incident, the artiste came out to narrate that he collapsed because his manager’s departure stressed him out.
He, subsequently pleaded with his manager Chingiboy Mstado to mend things with him so that they could continue working together.
“Meneja Rudi tupige kazi nimeishiwa na Nguvu watu wasitukosanishe. Stress inanipiga mpaka naanguka kwa stage Niki perfrom 😭😭😭 mnatakuniharibia mpaka manager,” Stivo Simple Boy wrote in a post on Instagram.
